About Private Security Orlando

We are a licensed Orlando security guard company built by people who did this work in uniform first, and who got tired of watching clients get handed a warm body and an invoice.

Private Security Orlando uniformed officers on duty in Orlando, Florida

Why We Started

The private security industry has a quality problem, and most clients discover it at the worst possible moment. A guard company wins the contract on price, assigns whoever is available that week, never writes real post orders, and then an incident happens. The client asks what the officer saw and there is no useful record of it. The insurer asks for documentation and there is nothing to hand over.

Private Security Orlando exists because that outcome is preventable. It is prevented by writing site-specific post orders before the first shift, by verifying every officer's license and background rather than assuming, by training officers to document what they observe, and by having supervision that actually checks the post.

Our Background

Our leadership brings more than 14 years of sworn law enforcement and supervisory experience to this company, and our team carries over 15 years in protective services. That matters in ways that are not obvious from a website.

Someone who has responded to real incidents knows which details matter in a report and which ones are noise. Someone who has testified about an incident knows what documentation survives scrutiny months later. Someone who has supervised officers knows the difference between a post that is being worked and a post that is being occupied. That experience is embedded in how we write post orders, how we train, and how we escalate.

Licensing and Credentials

We operate under Florida agency license B 1900066, issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which regulates private security agencies in this state under Chapter 493 of the Florida Statutes. Our license status is publicly verifiable, and we encourage clients to check it.

  • Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services licensed agency and officers
  • Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers instructor credentials
  • National Rifle Association instructor certification
  • Glock Red Dot instructor certification
  • Centrifuge Training credentials

Every officer we deploy holds a current Class D security officer license. Officers on armed assignments additionally hold a Class G statewide firearm license, which requires 28 hours of firearms instruction plus annual requalification on top of the 40 hours of instruction required for a Class D. We verify current status before assignment, every time.

How We Work

  1. We assess before we quote

We walk your property and look at entry points, lighting, sightlines and incident history before proposing anything. Frequently the highest return recommendation is a lighting or camera placement change that costs far less than the guard hours it offsets, and we will say so.

  2. We write real post orders

Site-specific documentation covering what the officer does, what they do not do, how they escalate and who they call. This is where most guard companies cut corners and it is the single biggest determinant of whether coverage actually works.

  3. We document everything

Daily activity reports covering patrol rounds, access events and anything unusual. Significant incidents escalate to your point of contact immediately rather than waiting for a weekly summary.

  4. We supervise the post

Field supervisors conduct spot checks. If the coverage pattern is not matching the actual risk, we adjust rather than letting the contract run on autopilot.

What We Will Not Do

We will not sell you armed coverage when your risk profile calls for unarmed. We will not quote a standing post when mobile patrol would deliver most of the deterrent value at a fraction of the cost. We will not promise a response time we cannot actually staff.

Over 15 years in protective services has made the tradeoff clear: clients who feel oversold do not renew, and a guard company that recommends the wrong posture eventually loses the account anyway. We would rather give you an honest assessment and earn a smaller contract that lasts.

Where We Work

We staff posts and run patrol routes throughout Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, covering Orlando, Winter Park, Kissimmee, Sanford, Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Apopka, Windermere, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Maitland, Oviedo, Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, Casselberry and Longwood.
